Privacy Policy

Legal Basis for processing data: Legitimate interest (established by LIA)

Source of information:

• directly from emails to the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer
• details added to the Brooklands Contact Details Register by Members
• details from the VMCC New and Re-joining Members lists issued to the Section Chairman and Secretary

Details held (not all held for every member):

• name
• address
• landline telephone number
• mobile telephone number
• email address

How information is used:

• communication on Section business and events/event related matters

Security and accuracy of information:

• information is held in hard copy and electronic form by the Section Secretary who will not disclose any details to a third party without the permission of the information owner
• a Member may at any time request and be permitted access to (a) their information held on the Register (b) a copy of the LIA

Deletion of information:

• a member may, at any time, request that their details are deleted from the Register. The Section Secretary shall, without delay, comply with this request and inform the Member accordingly
