Sixteen riders on fifteen machines turned out for the December 7th Winter Wandering Run, including David Ashdown with wife Christine as pillion. The run was led by Jeremy Sigger along a route that headed out through Pirbright to Seale, before turning back toward the hills around Munstead, then Bramley and finishing at the Clandon Park Garden Centre cafe. We were blessed with sunshine although the low sun on roads still shining wet from overnight rain required extra care from riders. The route took in some glorious views and pretty lanes such as Alldens and Thorncombe Street, and the mud and leaf mould on one especially steep and narrow section made for character-building riding conditions!
