Jim Allen Run, Newlands Corner GU4 8SE
Named in honour of Jim Allen who has led many club runs over the years, the 2019 event is a guided run to the Royal Armouries Museum at Fort Nelson for lunch, then return to Newlands Corner in the afternoon, led by Jeremy Sigger. About 55 miles outbound and 50 miles return, on mainly quiet back roads with added curly embellishments. Entry to the museum is free, although donations are welcome. £1.00 for entry on the run. Please arrive with a full tank of fuel.

Brooklands Section 50th Anniversary BBQ. Brooklands Museum,KT13 0QN.
2019 is the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Brooklands Section and to celebrate we have professional caterers providing a BBQ lunch at Brooklands Museum. Tickets cost £10.00 per person, available from Treasurer David Bell (firstname.lastname@example.org) on any Club Night. Partners are most welcome to attend. There is a limit of 50 tickets and the cost includes entry to the Museum (normally £13.50) plus a commemorative badge and other goodies. More details closer to the date.
